Hello! I’m Yoyo. I am currently a Part III mathematics student at the University of Cambridge, and I will be starting as a PhD student at UC Berkeley in Fall 2026. I did my undergrad at Johns Hopkins University, where I organized the math club and undergrad seminar.
Outside of math(s), I enjoy playing the flute. In the 2025-26 academic year, I am performing with the Cambridge University Orchestra as principal flute (upcoming concerts), as well as with my woodwind quartet Senza Corno as a part of the Instrumental Award Scheme at Cambridge. During my undergrad, I frequently performed with the Hopkins Symphony Orchestra; here is a recording of my performance of the first movement of Reinecke’s concerto with the Hopkins Symphony Orchestra as one of the winners of the concerto competition in spring 2022.
Here is my CV.
